THE TEAM, BEHIND THE SCENES

We are fortunate to have a talented team employed by BCPFF Burn Fund.

The team supports BCPFF Burn Fund operations, mission funding and program delivery, preventing tragedy and empowering the lives of survivors of burns or trauma. Designated staff also support the BCPFFA with (annual planning, conferences, membership services, media relations and government correspondence).

With a strong and diversified team we can professionally serve both organizations to the highest level, supporting burn survivors, their families and fire fighters.

BURN FUND

The BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund was offered a unique opportunity and partnership from Mike Annan, Vancouver Island Compassion Dogs (VICD) (a Division of BC & Alberta Guide Dogs) to receive a "Operational Stress & Community Support Dog" (OS CS Dog). The Compassion Dog Program aims to enhance the survivor support services of the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. This program endeavours to enhance Burn Fund programming by supporting burn survivors with therapeutic healing and stress related symptoms such as Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) and anxiety.  Benji will attend the following Burn Fund programs: Home Away Program; Burn Camp; Little Lionhearts Family Camp; THRIVE Winter Retreat.
